The Committee for a Better Atlanta is a business coalition whose mission is to foster a healthy business environment by advocating a common business and civic agenda to policy makers as well as citizens.

The city of Atlanta has made great strides in the past few years with thriving intown neighborhoods, improving student achievement in our city schools and a growing reputation as a great city for sports and entertainment. In other respects, however, we've never been more vulnerable. Our police force is understaffed, our sewer system requires expensive upgrades, traffic is becoming increasingly worse, and neighboring cities and counties are more successful in attracting new businesses and jobs.

Elected officials are critical, because they determine the infrastructure and services that make a city desirable. Elections for Fulton County Commission will be held this year.

Primary Election - July 18, 2006
General Election - November 7, 2006
