This question is for both candidates...your race, out of all the races that have gone to a runoff, has seemed to stay the most collegial. Thus it has also been the hardest for voters to differentiate between the two of you. Can you each give us one trait or example that you believe makes you the better candidate for this seat as compared to your opponent?

Mr. Farokhi, your October financial disclosure indicates you spent $50,000 of the $68,000 you raised with a Washington D.C. firm for direct mail to the voters. There are more than 10% unemployment in the City of Atlanta. Many people are looking for jobs. There are tons of direct mail companies right in Atlanta and the metro area. Why didn't you spend that money here in Atlanta where the unions that are supporting you are clamoring for work? How do you expect to help in the creation of jobs when you are already sending those jobs out of state? Can we expect you to also send the City jobs out of state and out of the country?

Mr. Farokhi, I tried googling your name and all I could find is about your campaign. There are no accomplishments out of 10 pages of google. Not one accomplishment other than being the first Iranian American to be in a run-off for elected position in Georgia. I would like to know if you Can you point to anything you have done other than you serving on a couple of boards (you have only served for one year)? I read your bio and outside of interning for a past city coucilmember, traveling abroad, practicing at the largest law firm--how could you help the City move forward?

How do you view supportive housing? And, do you think the City of Atlanta is working on this issue? In addition, what are your thoughts on McMansions?

Even before Amir earned a score of "Excellent" from the CBA (the highest in his race), he has long held a commitment to keeping jobs in Georgia. That's why every piece of campaign collateral from start to finish was produced locally.

Just like the mayoral candidates and his opponent, Amir hired an out-of-state political direct mail firm because there are no true political direct mail firms remaining in the city. The direct mail firm we hired in DC designed the mail, but it was printed and distributed by Atlanta-based printers.

The vast majority of the money we paid our direct mail was passed along to printers in Atlanta. Take a look at any mailer, palm card, yard sign or banner, and you'll see the union bug affixed and be able to confirm its origins at a Georgia-based union printer. Our campaign has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in Atlanta, supporting city residents and city businesses.
